Each of our designers have several years of experience in their crafts and have a grand reputation for working with clients to create spaces that encompass and incorporate their personality and aesthetic preferences.
Tim Causey
Tim Causey is a very well-known interior designer in the Nashville area. With more than 25 years of experience, ownership of ReCreations Home and hundreds of clients ranging from well-known musicians to entrepreneurs, it’s easy to see that he takes great pride in his work and business. He has a keen eye for detail and pairing each customer’s style and personality with what they envision their space to look like.
His projects have ranged from boutique hotels, office spaces, residential homes, estates, commercial offices and virtually anything in between – you name it and Tim has likely done it. You can rest assured he will pay close attention to your needs and work tirelessly to ensure your expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
Tim’s mission is to create interiors with a fresh perspective and have fun doing it. His friendly, outgoing personality will make you feel at ease when decorating your home, and will ultimately turn your dreams into reality.
Connie Ikard
Our floral designer Connie Ikard was born in Tennessee, but spent most of her life in Florence, Alabama. She began her career with ReCreations Home in 2001, and in 2004, she and her husband moved to Nashville to continue her career as the head floral designer at ReCreations Home.
Connie has more than 27 years of industry experience, including extensive work with live florals, silk and preserved botanicals. Her floral designs range from contemporary and European garden to traditional and an array of other styles.
She has earned the reputation as one of the Mid-South’s premier floral designers, and she has the esteemed awards to prove it. One look at our showroom and you can see Connie is a true artist in her trade. You can rest assured she never duplicates, and that every floral arrangement she creates is a piece of art just for you.
Erin Akers
Erin Akers is from Fairhope Alabama. With growing up with an eye for design, Erin pursued a career in interior design and decorating. By Co-Owning Coastal Interiors with her mother, she gained very valuable knowledge and experience in the design world. After leaving the company in 2008, she became an interior designer/ decorator at Richtex Fabrics, Cotton Capers and Now at ReCreations Home as an Interior Designer.
Along with working at ReCreations she studies interior design and architecture at O’more College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee. Erin specializes in custom drapery, bedding and upholstery. With her personable and outgoing personality you will be happy to have her as your interior decorator.
